Spring is finally here and it’s time to take out all the white denim and open-toed heels! You guys know I wear white and pink year-round, I just style them slightly differently during the warmer seasons. I think everyone should have a pair of white denim in their closet; it’s a staple item that will never go out of style and matches with everything. These heels are also a staple in my book, I wear them all the time since the nude goes with everything and the heel is just the right size to make them comfortable enough to walk in all day. I honestly think every girl should have these two things in her closet!
Blazers have always been a favorite item of clothing for me. They scream “boss” and are always very on trend. My preferred way to style them is with denim because I think it creates a really edgy yet sophisticated look. You could wear a blazer super casually with a tee underneath, ripped denim, and sneakers. You can also wear them over dresses or rompers. The possibilities are pretty much endless. Since pink is my favorite color to wear, this blazer caught my eye right away. Blazers have always typically been seen as something worn only to the office, but with all the different styles and colors they’re made in now, you can wear them on many other different occasions. I usually like the oversized look, like the one I’m wearing in this post. The pink makes it feminine and fun, and the fit makes me feel like a total boss lady! Confidence is key no matter what you’re wearing, but a blazer definitely helps with that “look good, feel good” mentality for me.
This is an outfit that I would wear to the office with a few minor tweaks; I would wear plain white denim instead of distressed, and I would wear closed-toed heels. Other than that, this look is totally work appropriate (at least for my job, I work for a media company so the dress code is business casual). The best part about a look like this is that you can easily go straight to happy hour without having to go back home to change. It’s a great look for both occasions and there’s nothing I love better than an outfit that can be worn in multiple different settings!
