This spring/summer is all about the rompers, jumpsuits and mini skirts! Although the skirt I’m wearing in this post is currently sold out, there are so many other cute skirts that I wanted to share (see them all linked above!). Most of them are from Hello Molly, an online boutique that I’ve been shopping at a lot lately. I discovered them a few months back and have been hooked ever since. Their clothes are so cute and they are always on trend. I’ve had good experiences with their quality of clothing and the shipping is always super fast! They’re also reasonably priced, so if you haven’t already you should definitely check them out.
The weather so far this Spring has been all over the place! It’s been raining a lot and it hasn’t been all that warm, which has made it difficult for me to decide what to wear most days. When we actually get a nice day here in New York I immediately pull out my skirts, dresses, and shorts. I am loving how mini skirts have made a huge comeback this year. They’re so easy to style since they can go either way – you can dress them up with heels, accessories, and a crop top, or go more casual with sneakers or slides and a t-shirt. The possibilities are endless! The one I’m wearing is suede and I loved the asymmetrical look and tie detail. I’m loving all of the ties and pom details on everything this season – the more details a piece has the more unique it is, which is right up my style alley!
Wedding update for those wondering: I was so happy about booking our photo/video guys that I actually gave myself a little break from the planning. Check out this earlier post where I get into way more detail about those vendors. I also haven’t booked more vendors because, to be honest, it’s a lot of money all at once! Every vendor will require a deposit when you sign with them so although it’s great to book with them early, it’s also important to keep in mind all the money that you have to shell out. So, we haven’t yet booked our florist or DJ, but those are in the works. These vendors are so important but we still have 14 months until our wedding day so I’m not stressed out about it 🙂 That’s actually something that I’m very content with; the length of our engagement. I always thought that we would be engaged for one year or less, something that I’m glad that I was wrong about because I like the luxury of time I have to plan this very special day. I guess I was wrong about a lot of things. We were both 19 when we first started dating and not long after that I knew he was the one for me. I used to think that we would be married by 24! Even though I was right about Jonathan being the one for me, I was wrong about the timing. God had a different plan for us than my 19-year-old self initially thought, and I’m so glad He did. Everything has all worked out so perfectly and I couldn’t be happier.
