If there’s one thing about me that I think I’ve made pretty clear so far it’s that I love a good white lace! My eyes are always drawn to the fabric, I find it to be so feminine and romantic. It can be so easily dressed up or down. Since I’ve started wedding planning I’ve learned that there are many different types of lace and their styles are all unique. Lace-making has been around for a very long time as it began centuries ago mainly in Italy and France. With all of the many advances in technology lace fabric has been able to expand into a whole bunch of different patterns and compositions. One type of lace that is very trendy for spring is eyelet. Eyelet is a pattern with small holes that are finished with stitching and usually laid out in flowerlike designs. Just give me all the lace and I’ll be a happy girl!
In today’s post I’m wearing this gorgeous top that does not fall short of extra details. The bell sleeves and bow ties in the back bring this top to a whole new level of cute! I saw it and knew I had to have it. I paired it with jeans and wedges for a more casual look. I will definitely be wearing this top a hundred more times throughout the spring and summer where I’ll style it many different ways. Disclaimer: I may or may not always want to look like a bride, and to me that means wearing white lace. In other words, it’ll be white lace on REPEAT for me for the next year and a half, but who’s mad about it when its this adorable?! Haha 🙂
